Triptychs
Play. Good for the soul! These little pieces allow me to do just that, play. I enjoy combining various media into pleasing little glimpses of non-reality; snapshots of ethereal memories. Being such small pieces, one would think the work is minimal however; in reality these small jewels often take longer than larger pieces due to the several stages involved in their creation. I stain oriental papers, paint images, incorporate collage and sometimes even small bits of cyanotypes.
As I said before, I get to play!
