Jubilation
This series was brought about because I was sick and tired of the news; crimes, people being hurt, robberies. I was tired of COVID 19 and all the repercussions which followed. I’m tired of bad decisions and crazy politics and political promises.
In this series I am trying to put all that on the back burner, at least for a bit, and concentrate on all the good things which are still happening. We still have the wonder of new life with babies being born every day, weddings, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, graduations, vacations, get togethers. Life is still worth living and celebrating. This series is a testament to that. It attracts your attention and makes you feel good!
Each piece in the series begins with and under layer of color and written words of celebration. On the piece Cloud Nine, I wrote the name and birthday of my new grandson. Every piece in the series starts with words of hope and happiness below the many layers of color; each highlighting a reason to celebrate.
