We will cross that bridge when we get to it. How many times did I hear my mom say just that? This idiom, a favorite of my moms, was part of the inspiration for this series. The other part of my inspiration was a recent visit to Pittsburgh; a place that is not short on bridges. I was fascinated with these structures.
Mom wanted me to now there will be unexpected outcomes in life so stop worrying about those things until they happen. It doesn’t do you any good to worry and those worries may not happen anyway. Embrace the unexpected!
The funny thing is my mom was the biggest worrier I ever knew! I guess she wanted me to learn from her mistakes.
